Since 2011, Barbarella has been the most anticipated electro-pop music event of the year in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. World-class DJs such as Hardwell, Afrojack, Steve Angello, Nervo, Nicky Romero and Robin Schulz have performed here.
For this 2015 edition, under the concept of “Barbarella Journey” we created the digital strategy for the event that included a website, content for social networks and a great promotion that included an interactive game.
The original concept was "The Journey", created by PAV Events, the event producer. It was a futuristic and space-based story, where humans in the distant future no longer enjoyed the same energy as before. To recover it, they needed to travel back in time, precisely to the date when Barbarella 2015 would take place and the highest levels of energy would be concentrated.
For this, we created an interactive memory game on the event's official website, www.barbarellabypresidente.com, where the user had to remember a sequence of beats to accumulate energy.

We put out the call through social media and announced the winners:

We made promotions on Instagram and other networks to generate engagement and to attract new users on Snapchat.
